In order to build boats’ carbon masts, booms, foils, rigging… whatever your project, VITECH has a prepreg solution to offer! Our structural “XB3515” prepregs can help you build carbon masts and equipment for leisure and race boats…
Our prepregs materials and composite tubes allow our customers, for instance, to build non-structural aeronautical equipment, aircraft propellers, sailing boat masts, arms for measuring instruments, medical prostheses,
Over the last 50 years VITECH manufactured high quality fishing rods, kites, windsurf masts, ski sticks, tennis racket frames, javelins, paddle shafts, asymmetrical bars and notably, the most reliable rowing oars on the market…

Our history... since 1960

VITECH Composites started in the 1960s with the manufacturing of fishing rods made from glass fiber composites in a plant based in Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine, a town south of Tours in France.

Then in the 1980s, VITECH started manufacturing products made of carbon fiber composites.

The company designed sport articles such as kites, windsurf masts, ski sticks, tennis racket frames, javelins, canoe shafts, rowing oars, etc… which as an example allowed the French adventurers Gérard d’Aboville and Emmanuel Coindre to cross in solo the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

In addition, VITECH developed composite tubes for industrial applications like aerospace kerosene gauges, sound pickup poles, arms for measuring instruments, tubes for medical prosthesis, etc…
